Kurt has over five years of writing and editing experience for print and digital outlets. Raised in Central Jersey, Kurt began writing album reviews for blogs and their college paper before landing a music editorial internship at Paste Magazine in 2016. They worked as a publishing assistant and copywriter for TFH Publications before moving to Seattle in 2017, balancing restaurant work with a freelancing career.

They previously held staff positions for Paste Magazine, Consequence, and Apartment Therapy, and their work has been featured in The Seattle Times, Vulture, Thrillist, Jezebel, Food52, and Xtra.
